We all have habits that are engrained in our brains. Whether they are good or bad, they can sometimes be hard to change. But when we develop good habits, why change them!? One of my unbreakable habits is drinking tea. Whether it be green, white, oolong, or herbal, I will probably never stop drinking it.
Green tea has great benefits that are caused by the antioxidants called catechins, that are packed into this kind of tea. These catechins have been shown to fight the cell damage our bodies face everyday. Benefits include lower cholesterol, heart disease prevention, stabilized blood sugars in diabetics, and lower blood pressure! Can your soda drink do that? Of course it can’t! In fact, it has the exact opposite downfalls! Of course, the benefits of green tea can’t be achieved with just one cup. So make it a habit! Drink a cup a day for lifelong health benefits, and cut out those (bad) habit forming sugary drinks. Plus, who doesn’t love a good tea break?
