I don’t know where you guys are located…but here in Michigan the snow has returned. About 6 inches in a matter of hours! And boy that icy wind can sure make your bones shiver… Some days I just can’t warm up unless I take a hot bath or make some of my homemade chili. It’s hot, hearty, and fills my home with a cozy aroma that fits winter well. Here’s what you’ll need:

28 oz can crushed tomatoes

28 oz can whole tomatoes

15 oz can kidney beans, drained

15 oz can of corn, drained

1 1/2 lb ground turkey, browned with 1/2 cup chopped red onion, seasoned with S&P

1 cup tomato soup

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp chili powder

Combine all ingredients in a large pot (I prefer to use my dutch oven) and bring to a boil, then simmer for 2-3 hours. Serve with freshly grated cheese and cubed avocado and you couldn’t have a cozier meal! Thanks for checking in and I hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Until next time,

Tiffany xo
